The Burning Bridges AI Trend, Explained
Where the Drake Burning Bridges AI video trend came from, what the “where she at?” move is, and how people make their own version.

What is the Burning Bridges AI trend?
The Burning Bridges AI trend is a wave of short AI videos where people drop themselves, their friends, their pets or favorite characters into a chandelier-lit party scene inspired by the music video for Drake’s “Burning Bridges”, from the album Iceman.
The clips all share the same beats: a warm, amber-lit private dining room, crystal chandeliers, a raised silver cup, a point at the camera — and the signature move, a flat hand held over the eyes like a visor while the host scans the room for “where she at?”.
Why did it take off?
- It is instantly recognizable. The scene and the hand-over-the-eyes move read in under a second, even with the sound off.
- Anyone can be the host. One photo is enough for AI video models to put you at the center of the party.
- Pets made it funnier. Dogs and cats standing up in tiny jackets, raising a cup, became a sub-trend of their own.
- It is a template. Like earlier AI trends, people reuse the same structure and swap in a new star and a new line.
How do people make it?
There are three common ways:
- A dedicated generator (like this site). Upload one photo, pick a line, get a 15-second MP4. No prompting or editing.
- CapCut templates. Free and quick, but you are limited to what the template allows, and usually there is no custom spoken line.
- General AI video apps. Powerful, but you write and tune the prompt yourself, retry, and trim the result — usually on a monthly plan.
See the step-by-step guide for each method.
Is it OK to post?
Make it with your own photo, your pet, or a friend who is in on it. Turn on the platform’s “AI-generated” label when you post. Don’t use photos of children or public figures, and don’t make anything meant to deceive or embarrass someone. Our Acceptable Use Policy lists the rules for this site.
